Just a few
years ago, networked computers were only found in large businesses.
Networks were expensive: the software and the hardware were costly, and
a network required the services of a technical expert not only to set up
a system but then to oversee and maintain it.
Things have
changed quite a bit. Networks are now much less expensive and much easer
to set up and maintain.
